Tell me you’re white without telling me your white 😂
Ohh, mamma ❤
Great information, I plan on driving over from San Diego 2025. A few questions - by the last weekend are the specimens picked over, do some sellers from the first week also get booths at a different venue the second week, can you cover multiple shows in one day, do sellers scoop up the best deals early and resale the second week. Are there better shows if you’re looking for thumbnail specimens. 2025 is months away and I’m stressing out already.
Is this in the Dragoon Mountains?
They also come in big bird seed
I don't know sis, I think I'll wait on the surface. I wouldn't want to meet Chupacabra in his hiddy hole, lol.
Soon u find precious one i pray
Your all videos are interesting mam.. well done
Love seeing places I've been to. Hope to catch you two out that way sometime...
I always use white vinegar and water. 3/4 vinegar to a 1/2 part of water. Please drop whichever Stones you want to be cleaned. Soak it overnight for 1 to 2 days. Everyday shake the bucket side to side several times until you're satisfied that every Rock has turned over in the solution. Plus it gives it a chance to knock some of the debris off of your stones and rocks. On the second day check to see if there are any improvements of debree falling off your stones. To me it's fascinating to see the reaction of how the vinegar works on your stones. At first glance you can see tiny bubbles and you can hear him sizzle. I'll let you know the vinegar is doing his job. If you can't hear I'm sizzling or see him bubbling add more vinegar. You should be able to use this solution twice. So if possible for the solution over into another container full of stones and set for 2 days. I do this on really old fossilized and opalized shells. You know how when they are covered and it's really thick white stuff. It really takes a lot of the stuff off when soaking in the solution and what does not come off use a really extra soft toothbrush and lately both and you will have progress with a clean Stone or shells. I really hope this helps. Your follower Dory
Love your passion. I will share any spots i have if you're ever interested 🤙

Cool spelunking adventures! Totally right call to turn around, how many more warning did you need 😅
Lol I know right, probably should've turned around at the first load of 💩 the carcass was the defining moment! There was also a pretty freshly eaten rib cage outside the cave. Lots of warning signs!
@@RusticSkills What was the sketchiest thing you've come across exploring out there?
Impressive what county is this in?
Most are from Cochise County
would rock-on-rock have worked here or not? since civilisation might collapse and we might not have steel
Rock on rock will not work, however there will be plenty of steel remaining post SHTF and also I suggest having a steel blade or two as backup.
BEAUTIES
Thank you! More to come!
Used to be called needle dick, but now I'm jumping cholla. Thanks for the inspiration!
Too bad the mine is depleted turquoise is such an awesome and beautiful stone.
Its not quite depleted but the really beautiful high quality stuff is gone. Plenty of good turquoise out there that remains to be discovered!
@@RusticSkills Good to know 👍
Hi, Regina I love your videos & not just for your great knowledge but your awesome personality which makes it most enjoyable...😊 I also signed up for your news letter so keep them video's coming..😉
Awesome and welcome aboard! Working on some new releases shortly and the newsletter comes out every other Sunday, or at least that is what I aim for! Thanks for the lovely comment!
@RusticSkills I'm the one that recently purchased your desert Rose I cant wait to get it to add to my collection. Please put some more cool stuff up for sale. Thanks again
True, and I'm so sick and tired of the media vilifying our mountain lions. The same goes for other keystone predators that are misunderstood, maligned and persecuted. Moronic and unethical hunters are always killing our mountain lions, wolves, bears and coyotes. Even the USDA Wildlife Services, AKA 'Wildlife Killing Services' kills hundreds of thousands since they pander to livestock producers. It takes barely any education to coexist with these animals and just use common sense but we live in a world that loves to kill things.
Yes it is very unfortunate these creatures get a bad rap because they are essential to our ecosystem. Fear makes people go stupid.
Just found your channel, and loving it as a local Arizonan. I live in Tucson, and I really want to find a place to look for azurite but I'm struggling! It seems a lot of places to look are on private land. Any advice?
Hi there! I am glad you are enjoying my channel! I suggest watching my map video, I tell you exactly how to find spots on public lands and places to dig. That will be your best bet. It can be tricky but you will find spots!!!
That’s not the only thing Fully Ignited! 🫷🏽
🔥😆🔥😆
You can see them falling..that's why we call them jumping ☝️👦👈
Very large!
We were so Very Blessed with Over 30+ pounds of KingMan Gold and Silver Ore. Mined by a Gentleman Decades ago. He recently Passed on from this world in his mid 90's. The Matrix is like wow, light color to dark color. It polishes up at 600grit. It is Solid.
Thats amazing! I would love to see the pieces. The matrixing is the best part! And its solid, awesome collection!
Listening to you talk is so calming. Great video!
Thank you!!! I am glad you enjoyed the video!
That is not a desert tortoise. That is a sulcata tortoise
Great video, you have a new subscriber now! I was just there yesterday, that's crazy!! We ended at that 900' shaft, but we mainly explored off of Owl's Nest Rd and hiked up to Emerald Mine. There's a boiler at the adit opening. Hope to see you out and about exploring someday...
Ah the Emerald Mine, that is where I was! I saw the adit on the map but ended up exploring the manganese tailings. I will definitely have to explore the adit! We might bump elbows in the bush, you never know....
That chest sparked my atttention
Factually the Perellta family had about 30 mines there and the Dutchman’s was one of them! He also murdered 3 men to steal the mine
Oh wow, yeah there is some dark history in them thar hills!
Nice post, when is your next rock hounding video?
Hi there! I am planning for a release this Sunday. I am hoping to get a full release video out every other week and 2 shorts a week. I also work full-time and run a homestead, so wish me luck!

Where’s is it from
Amethyst can come from all over, but the biggest producer in the world is Brazil. You can find it in Arizona too!
You rock!

FOR REALS!
Here from your Newsletter! Congrats on everything and so happy for you!🎉 Very positive message & spoke to me as I've been gettin my pull-behind trailer ready to head out and leave Appalachia to head west. Been havin those annoying doubts thanks to all the "encouragement" from family.😅 But yeah, I mean if they can't see what's goin down, then enjoy. I'll be wayyyyy over yonder, ok?!😂 Headed west with my lil dawg and a stray cat that I guess isn't a stay anymore since he claimed me. I hope to find some crystals thanks to your info. Really love the pics of Quartz ya found in your Newsletter. I'd be over the moon findin somethin like that just once! But prob get kinda addicted and spend my days doin nothin but rockhoundin.😂 Actually… 🤔 that doesn't sound bad. 😍😄⛏️💃💎
Aww thank you so much! I am so happy too. You gotta just go for it, take the leap, and never look back. If you wait until you are "ready" to be a homesteader, rockhounder, explorer, etc. You will never do it cuz you will never be ready. So jump in and enjoy the ride! Your cat and dog sound adorable. Where are planning to go?
@@RusticSkills Well, "planning" on Grand Canyon… but ya know how plans go.😆 They always changin! But yeah, my heart is waitin for me in those canyons… I prayed about this for years & just know this is where God is callin me. But I wanna see some other spots too.
How do people know where to look for gems or gold?
Well you can start by looking in the ground, that's where they're most commonly found. 😂
Although you are a smartass, you're not wrong 😆🙄
It's going to depend on where you live. Some states are rich with gems and gold, some are poor. Your best bet is to join a local rockhounding/gold group and start there. You can also do a google search and see what people have posted. You can watch my gems mapping video and learn how to find old mines. That will get you started!
@@RusticSkills what u have videos I'm interested
I'm in the Mojave, antelope valley ,I've found some cool stuff but could always learn, especially in this field,I learn something new every day
Special place here!
Going back soon to find more I hope!
@@RusticSkills nice, enjoy that! Have a great night!
I was born and raised in Kingman '69. I do lapidary work as a hobby, the store is always busy. Some of the best Turquoise I have worked. 😊
Thats awesome. I really love the stuff and will eventually buy some the next time I am at the Tucson Gem Show.
If you love this stuff, look up Lander Blue turquoise. It'll blow out your squash.
Just looked it up. DANG that is some sexy turquoise! ❤️💎
@RusticSkills in it's time it was about 30 times more valuable than regular high-grade turquoise. I'm almost certain I watched my dad cut it.
Schrade is a decent brand when it comes to edge tools and etc.
Is that a female Black Widow?
That is actually a hunter spider, and she is a big momma. Glad I got her out before she popped her babies!
Asking price doesn't determine worth, the price it actually sold for does.
That is definitely truth
It was good enough for some girl to steal mine from my apartment. It had a gold vein through it and my grandmother gave it to me.
Aww that sucks! I hate when I lose rocks. I bet that was a beauty
I hope you took her outside and let her go
I actually sure did! I kept her as a pet for a few days, then let her go in a tree far away from the house
@@RusticSkills Thank you! You're a peach! (as my Nana would say) - a wonderful person ❤️🕷️❤️
